Initial Release Vs After Market Sales

NFTs are generally purchased in two main ways:

  1. Initial Release (Minting Sale):
    1. This is the day that the NFT is set to go live and available for followers to mint (purchase) via a project's website. There is also sometimes a Pre-Sale that happens before the main sale for select few individuals.
  2. After Market:
    1. Can purchase, sell or transfer NFTs from an existing owner on a marketplace (such as Open Sea). These interactions are usually higher than the original minted price of the token.
